Hi! My name is Amy Sitzes and I am the face behind Celebration Settings.

I grew up in Houston and graduated from Texas A&M University (WHOOP)! I met my husband Zach in DFW while I was working at an amazing church in Dallas. We got married and moved to West Texas where my husband is from and Abilene has been our home for the last 10 years! We have two precious kiddos that fill our life with so much joy.

While packing up for a move last December, I realized how many disposable plates, cups, and napkins I had purchased over the years. I told myself I would use them next year for that holiday, but I never did. I always wanted to buy something new. I started thinking “What if people could just buy the number of place settings they needed and not have 15 leftover Valentine’s Day plates they’d never use again?”

This thought, along with my love for celebrating all the things, and my experiences in discipleship ministry, children’s ministry and teaching led me to start Celebration Settings. I want my kids to learn the JOY of celebrating while looking for God in every holiday and celebration.

My hope is that Celebration Settings will help equip parents to have spiritual and intentional conversations at the table in a fun and engaging way. May we not miss out on the opportunities to teach our kids about God on the ordinary and special days!
